An imagemap allows you to create a clickable image which will take the visitor to a different location depending upon where they click on the image. Client-side imagemaps are much more efficient and highly suggested for using on your Speedsoft account. For information on creating client-side imagemaps, please see http://www.ihip.com for a complete tutorial. If you want to use a server-side imagemap, we have the "imagemap" program on the server. Please see http://hoohoo.ncsa.uiuc.edu/docs/tutorials/imagemapping.html for the complete NCSA tutorial on setting up your HTML page and .map file for the server-side imagemap. For non-virtual hosting clients, just point your imagemap link to http://www.speedsoft.com/cgi-bin/imagemap/yourdirectory/yourmapfile. If you are a virtual hosting client, you will need to install this program in your cgi-bin directory using this Auto Installer page. Your link will look like http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/imagemap/yourmapfile.
